The Community Council’s Role
The Community Council is a statutory consultee for all planning applications in the Feughside Area.
Members of the public are actively encouraged to attend the monthly meetings to air their views both for and against planning applications to ensure the Community Council can best represent the wishes of the local community.

Feughside Local Place Plan
What is a Local Place Plan?
A new planning tool introduced under the Planning (Scotland) Act 2019 that aims to give communities a stronger voice in decisions regarding land use and development within their areas.
It allows communities to define their own vision, set priorities, and propose development and regeneration projects that align with their needs and aspirations.
It can highlight land areas of particular significance and outline the types of development residents want, or don’t want, to see in their community.
