The spacious Main Hall is ideal for larger functions and social gatherings, while the Small Hall offers a cosy setting for meetings, workshops, or smaller groups.

With flexible spaces, modern facilities, and affordable hire rates, it’s easy to make the hall your venue for any occasion.

Facilities

  • Large Hall (14.4m x 8.8m) and Small Hall (6m x 5.4m)

  • Modernised Gents, Ladies and Disabled toilets

  • Kitchen fitted with high-speed industrail dishwasher, fridge and cooker and electric tea urn.

  • Parking is extremely limited.  There is room for about ten cars, if users are careful, in the area on the left (west) side of the Hall, but any additional cars need to be parked on the public road running past the Hall (the B974), which has no parking restrictions

Equipment

  • 16 long plastic-topped tables, each seating three persons comfortably on each side, four at a pinch, plus one at each end (but it’s a little awkward to sit at the ends because of the table legs)

  • 120 plastic stackable chairs.

  • 6 small (1m x 1m) formica-topped tables

  • Modular stage for 6.75m x 2m area

  • Electronic piano

  • Large bluetooth speaker, providing good sound system

  • 4 gym benches

  • Badminton net and floor markings

  • Table tennis table

  • Toys for under 5’s

  • Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

  • Fire detection and alarm system

  • Air-source heaters

  • Ceiling-mounted reflective light ball

  • China and cutlery for 100 people

FAQs

How much does it cost?

£20 an hour on Monday to Friday (to include setting up and clearing up time) up to 4 hours. For more than 4 hours, there is a session charge of £100

£20 an hour on Saturday and Sunday (to include setting and clearing up time)

£15 an hour for regular weekly hires.

£100 for an evening function (approx. 2.30pm on day of event to midday the next day) plus £100 returnable deposit

£400 for a 2-day wedding hire plus £100 returnable deposit

£7.50 per session for the Small Hall Only

Payment must be made in full by bank transfer or cheque 2 weeks before the hire.

Are bouncy castles allowed? 

Bouncy castles are permitted in the hall.

It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure that the company supplying the bouncy castle has the relevant public liability insurance.

The hall is 18 ft at the highest point.

How big is the hall and how many people does it hold? 

The Main Hall measures 14.4m x 8.8m (47ft x 29ft)

The maximum capacity of the Main Hall is 120 with close seating.

The Small Hall measures 6m x 5.4m (20ft x 18ft)

On site parking is available for a limited number of cars. Overflow parking is on the side of the road.

Is there a stage? 

There are modular staging units which can create a stage of up to 6.75m x 2m.

Is there any audio/visual equipment, or wifi?

There is wifi, but no A/V equipment.

How many tables and chairs are there? 

There are two sizes of table:

  • The 16 main tables are 6 ft x 2ft 6 ins

  • There are 6 small formica-topped tables, 3ft x 3ft

  • There are 120 stackable chairs

Are there any catering facilities? 

There is an electric cooker, a fridge, a microwave and an urn.

Crockery and cutlery for 100 settings are available for use.

BYOB is allowed by prior arrangement with the booking secretary.

Teenage parties are not allowed.
