Aberdeenshire Council are hosting an online interactive and 360 degree virtual event which presents the Proposed Local Development Plan 2020.
This proposed plan is the final opportunity for you to shape the future of your community and ensure development is directed to the right place for the period 2021-2031. It is open for consultation until the 17th of July 2020. To attend the event go to www.aberdeenshirepldp2020.consultation.ai/ where the maps and accompanying documents can be viewed. The live chat facility is available from 9am to 5pm and you can comment on any areas where you feel policy change may be required. Next Local Development Plan (LDP)
Local Development Plan 2021 – Main Issues Report. Aberdeenshire Council’s Planning Policy Team have prepared a Main Issues Report to support the preparation of a new Local Development Plan. This document will govern the future use of land within Aberdeenshire from the period 2021 to 2032. You are invited to review and make comments on the Main Issues Report. The close of the consultation period is 8 April 2019. There will also be a series of “drop in” sessions across the major towns in Aberdeenshire to allow you to discuss any concerns you may have with Planning Staff, to assist you in making a representation to the Main Issues Report. Planning Applications for the Aberdeenshire area can be reviewed on the Aberdeenshire Council website https://upa.aberdeenshire.gov.uk/online-applications/ either by entering the specific planning application number, reviewing the weekly/monthly (Feughdee West) lists or the Map function. The Community Council is a statutory consultee for all planning applications in the Feughdee West Area and members of the public usually have 14 days in which to submit comments to the Aberdeenshire Planning Department either by letter, email or via the council site.
Members of the public are actively encouraged to attend the monthly meetings to air their views both for and against planning applications to ensure the Community Council can best represent the wishes of the local community.
